Biography
Dr. Larry J. DÃaz-Sandoval is an Interventional Cardiovascular Specialist at Metro Health-University of Michigan Health Hospital in Grand Rapids. He has been recently appointed as Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and is the newly appointed Chair of Cardiovascular Research & Director of Endovascular Research & Interventions. He has been the Director of the Vascular & Endovascular Medicine Fellowship Program since it’s inception in 2014. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Tufts University School of Medicine and his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is a Fellow of SCAI, ACC, AHA, and the Society of Vascular Medicine. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 publications including original research, book chapters, review articles, editorials and Expert Consensus Statements for the Society of Cardiac Angiography & Interventions, as well as for the American Heart Association
